Although Ibiza has become a well known destination for cheap package deals, 18 – 30s holidays and noisy, overcrowded hotels, that’s not the greatest way to experience the island. There are the kind of villas that offer complete privacy, the kind that make you feel like a rock star and the kind that cater for big groups at a level of luxury you wouldn’t expect on a mass scale. Spectacular views, infinity pools, bar staff, four poster beds and original furnishings are just some of the things you can expect if you can stump up the cash for these palaces.
Realistically, luxury villas in Ibiza don’t come cheap. But then true luxury never does. There are luxurious options dotted around Ibiza, with concentrations in the vicinity of Ibiza Town, San Jose and Santa Eularia. Many of the luxurious villas in Ibiza are up in the hills or built into cliff faces, something which gives them those spectacular views, but also means it’s a good idea to hire a car of get the number of a good local taxi company. You can sleep anywhere from 3 to 14 people (or more, depending on sleeping arrangements and the villa you’re after) and many luxury villas in Ibiza are beautifully secluded so you can save the hustle and bustle of the major resorts and the island’s top clubs for the times you actually want to be part of it.
