It's hard to do justice to Tiesto; undoubtedly one of the all time great DJs, this legend of dance music is set to make a magnificent return to the world's biggest club, Privilege, for the summer of 2010 with his unique flavour of trance.
So what is it that makes Tiesto such an institution? Maybe it's the fact that he's one of the very few DJs privileged enough to have played at the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games - probably the largest audience for any performer of any genre. Maybe it's the fact that he was the first artist to have a house track played over the airwaves in North America. Maybe it's because he has had more number 1s than any other DJ in Europe. Whatever it is, Privilege makes the perfect location to see one of the all time greats at the top of his game. You really can't afford to miss this party, no matter what your taste in music.
A triumphant comeback for Tiesto in Ibiza
Tiesto had a spell during which he gave up a residency at Cream to focus on his own tours but, a couple of years back, he delighted Ibiza party revellers by announcing that he would take up his throne as King of Ibiza once more. Incidentally, the announcement was made after Tiesto sold out Privilege twice in three days - no mean feat when you consider that the club accommodates more than 10,000 people!
So for some distinctive remixes on classic tracks as well as a hearty helping of trance staples that tend to form the basis of the In Search of Sunrise series, get yourself down to San Rafael and Privilege on a Monday night as Tiesto is suspended above the aqua blue pool in front of thousands of adoring fans! A sight you will never forget!
