Hed Kandi is now a well renowned clubbing brand which has really brought the Funky House scene front and centre in the last few year. In 2009 Hed Kandi moved from El Divino to Eden representing a move in both capacity and direction for the brand in Ibiza.
Hed Kandi Ibiza has been running for a few years now but it really took off on Saturdays at El Divino in 2007 and really went from strength to strength through 2008. For the 2009 season the Hed Kandi promoters took the decision to take their night to San Antonio superclub Eden to become part of their ever increasing big name bill of high profile commercial nights like Pete tong's Wonderland and Judge Jules' Judgement Sundays
For anyone who's been to a Hed Kandi night you'll realise El Divino was probably the perfect venue for Hed kandi Ibiza. Marketing itself as the more upmarket clubbing experience, Hed Kandi is full of cool people with a real uplifting atmosphere. The theme is very much funky house with the likes of Andy Norman and David Dunne playing to the small El Divino crowd.
Hed Kandi Ibiza: too cool for school!
Hed Kandi tickets will set you back the standard 50 EURO mar. Eden has a greater capacity than El Divino so we'd expect tickets a bit easier to come by and smaller queues than you may have come to expect at El Divino.
Eden usually closes up the last Friday in September so the last Hed Kandi will likely be the 3rd Saturday in September. Doors 12(midnight)-6am. Dress code= funky!
