If you’re looking for a supersized clubbing experience then look no further than Privilege, the worlds biggest club. Privilege is a true Ibiza superclub and home to some of the most famous Ibiza parties over the past decade, including the legendary Manumission nights and a series of sold out shows by world famous trance Dj, Tiesto.

Privilege in Ibiza - The World's biggest nightclub

Once an open-air venue the venue’s roof was added at the start of the 90's and the club became Privilege. Privilege in Ibiza hosts a range of nights from different musical genres throughout the summer season but in recent years has been defined by the iconic Manumission night- perhaps the most famous party on the island (and the world?). However following a dispute over an unpaid fine from the 2006 season for an overrun party, Privilege showed Manumission the door mid- 2007.

When Manumission moved to Amnesia questions were asked about the future of Privilege without this huge brand to market it, but Tiesto’s Monday night trance-tastic sessions have continued to keep the club high up on the least of places to see and be seen.

Privilege is a true Ibiza experience and a unique place on earth. It is the world's largest nightclub - it takes your breath away when you enter the venue. The 25 metres-high ceiling allows to present spectacular shows and gives enough space to house a huge pool inside. It's situated between Ibiza Town and San Antonio and the large windows offer gorgeous views over the island. Because of the size we are able to redesign the club for every night.

Inside Privilege

If you are going to Privilege with a group of mates, you might want to tie yourselves together. The club is HUGE and Privilege virgins will inevitably get quite lost, so memorize the map outside before you go in. The dance floor is one of the largest in the world and the main DJ booth is suspended above a swimming pool – it really doesn’t get any more Ibiza than that!

Privilege history

Originally an outdoor swimming pool with a bar, the Privilege we know and love was first known as Club Rafael, later renamed as Ku Club. As Ku grew into one of Ibiza's premier venues in the 80's local's started complaining about the noise and the decision was taken to stick a roof over the open-air venue to keep in the basslines. The club has been called Privilege ever since and has been the home to some spectacular Ibiza clubbing experiences, in particular the Manumission nights which arrived in 1996 and set the tone for many of the island’s current clubbing experiences.

Location

On the road between San Antonio and Ibiza town, about 4 miles from San An and 3 miles from Ibiza town.

Getting to Privilege

From San Antonio or Ibiza town the easiest way is either on a free bus which you can get with your Privilege club tickets or it'll be about a €10-€15 cab ride from town.

Getting home

Getting home at closing time as with many Ibiza clubs can be tricky. They'll be cabs but expect to wait.

Prices

Entry on big nights will be around €50 but smaller mid-week parties are often priced around €25. If you're on a budget but still want to experience Privilege this might be your best bet. Drinks prices are high €10+ for a beer.

Privilege opening/ closing times

Most nights Privilege opens at midnight. They say to aim to get in before 2am to avoid queues but didn't seem to bad getting in later last year. Usually closes at 6am.
