Amnesia in Ibiza was brought into the public spotlight with its feature in the Kevin & Perry movie but famous with Ibiza goers long before for its ice cannons and awesome sound system. Cream at Amnesia is one of the biggest nights in Ibiza every Thursday of the season.

Amnesia in Ibiza - Trance Heaven

Amnesia has its disco roots in the 70's and today is a mecca for all breeds of dance fanatics with a strong following amoung trance fans.

Amnesia's biggest night is Cream which is held every thursday during the season with resident Paul Van Dyke with Marco V, Eddie Halliwell and Ferry Corsten regular contributers and making it possibly the biggest and best trance night in the world.

Inside Amnesia

Amnesia features 2 huge rooms- the sala principal which is usually considered the 'main room' and the 'back room' which is equally impressive and seperated by a single door.

In our opinion for an Ibiza holiday Amnesia is a must do club, even if the often extreme business of the main room isn't really you're scene, there's always a place to cool down and chill out in the more spacious terrace or VIP bars so make sure you plan at least one Amnesia night while you're out there.

Amnesia on Amnesia

One of the secrets to its success lies in the quality of its sound. Today the discotheque has one of the most advanced sound systems (Expanded Amnesia Technology) due to the dynamic electronic process. Its function is to analyze and submit frequencies that provoke the human body to feel sensations that compare to having a sound massage... enjoy it!

Nights at Amnesia

Amnesia rose to further fame towards the end of the 2007 season by adopting the homeless Manumission who played out in their Ibiza summer fridays in the back room while Made in Italy occupied the main room.

Amnesia is open seven nights a week through the season with the usual lineup looking like this:

Sunday- Foam Party / Juicy

Monday- Cocoon

Tuesday- Armada / Contact

Wednesday- Foam Party / Made in Italy

Thursday- Cream

Friday - Manumission

Amnesia Information

Location

Amnesia is about 5-10 minutes in a cab out of San Antonio on the main road. The nearest village and point on the map is San Rafael but everyone knows 'Amnesia'.

Getting there

Free buses run from San Antonio on the big nights or there's ok parking if you're that way inclined. There's also free parking on the road or behind the club.

Getting back

Usually plenty of cabs outside at kicking out time.

Prices

Don't expect a cheap night at Amnesia these days. Big nights like Cream and Cocoon will cost around the €50 mark and a bottle of water will set you back €12.
