Clubbing hotels are a relatively new phenomenon in Ibiza and the idea has been lapped up by the thousands of dedicated music lovers who flock to the island every summer for a dose Balearic beats under the Mediterranean skies. Perhaps the mother of all the Ibiza clubbing hotels was the friends-only Manumission Motel, which sadly closed down, but not before it had created some legendary tales of debauchery and excess.

Obviously seeing a fantastic, Euro-shaped gap in the market for hotels affiliated with the biggest of the island’s clubs, the owners have just jumped right in. Ibiza clubbing hotels vary in terms of motivation, location and (sometimes) quality, but needless to say, this is not an option for you if you are trying to choose a peaceful and booze free holiday.

Even if you pick an Ibiza clubbing hotel that doesn’t turn into a music venue (like the Ibiza Rocks Hotel in San Antonio), you can guarantee that the other guests are going to be up for one hell of a party and you’re not really going to be able to complain if they keep you up all night with partying noise.

The great thing about clubbing hotels in Ibiza is that they are not exclusive, which means they not all of them actually that expensive, and you can get yourself a room within one of the hotels for much less than you would pay at some of the really luxurious hotels. They also try very hard to attract a youthful crowd, which means amenities like an Internet café, free WI-FI, games rooms, at least one (or more) bars, maybe a club and the kind of interiors you’d find in an IKEA showroom.

El Hotel Pacha is probably at the top end of the Ibiza clubbing hotels, charging € 200 per person, per night at peak season for a room in the chic, modern, urbane hotel that “truly embodies the Pacha philosophy and lifestyle with more than a hint of cool Ibiza vibe.” If that kind of budget just blows your mind then Jet Apartments has the legendary Bora Bora beach bar within its complex and Space just a short walk away and offers accommodation from around €80 per person, per night.
