Cheap Ibiza Holidays
We all know we’re supposed to be careful with our money these days and with the price of club entries and drinks in Ibiza, combined with the terrible exchange rate of the Euro compared to pretty much any currency in the world you’d might think that a cheap Ibiza holiday would be out of the question. Think again my loyal Ibiziaites (yes we made that word up!).
On this page we’re going to show you how you can plan a cheap holiday to Ibiza and still have a wicked time.

Your holiday doesn’t have to break the bank, here’s some advice on scoring a cheap Ibiza holiday.
- Look for early booking deals on holidays between October – December for the following summer
- Go in the early (May/ June) or late (September/ October) parts of the season rather than high season (July/ August) – that way flight price won’t be bumped up by school holidays
- Look for last minute holiday deals, within a week of departure for the lowest prices
- Book as a group and in even numbers to avoid paying supplements
Eating and drinking for cheap on an Ibiza holiday
Food and drink can quickly send up the cost of your Ibiza holidays, if you eat out twice a day you’re likely to spend at least €20/ day on food, over a weeks holiday that soon adds up. The cheapest way to eat is usually in your hotel as part of your package holiday. If you book an all inclusive Ibiza holiday this will be taken care of and all your food and drink will be covered. If you’re on half or full board make the most of hotel meals as you’ve already paid for them.
For cheap drinking get a load of big water bottles in your room from the supermarket and fill up smaller bottles for the pool or when you’re out and about. Ibiza supermarkets even in San Antonio are pretty cheap for alcohol so stock up on the first day and get some drinks inside you in your room before you head out. Before hitting the clubs most drinkers head to some of the cheaper bars either in the West End or along San Antonio beach. These bars have regular drinks deals, particularly for bigger groups and earlier in the evenings.
Cheap clubbing holidays in Ibiza
Clubbing is the most expensive part of an Ibiza holiday because club entries are expensive as are drinks inside clubs in Ibiza.
For the best prices on club tickets you can book in advance, either by ordering online before you leave or buying from ticket promoters in San Antonio or Ibiza Town. Make sure you only buy advanced tickets for club nights which you definitely want to go to, its not usually possible to get refunds. If you’re in any doubt whether you’ll be up for a night its best to leave it to the day. If you buy tickets from outlets/ ticket shops in Ibiza you can sometimes haggle a deal as a group, although this will depend on the popularity of the party you’re trying to book.
Ultimately you can save a few €€’s but the tickets will still be expensive if you want to hit the big nights with the best DJ’s. If you’re not too fussed about the nights you catch you can head to Eden or Es Paradis on nights that aren’t widely publicised and often get cheap or even free club entry.
To keep it cheap once you’re inside the club the only real advice is to not drink. Alcohol is more expensive than water or soft drinks, but not by much. If you are drinking stick to beers or the popular vodka lemon style bottles, these are cheaper than shots, cocktails or spirits with mixers. Not all clubs will frisk you so its worth trying to sneak in a sealed bottle of water. If the bouncers see it they’ll take it off you but if you get it in you’ve saved yourself €6 or more!
