Ibiza 18-30's holidays are for people who just want to have a bit of fun in the sun when holidaying in Ibiza and are happy to be part of a group of like-minded young holiday makers. 18-30's Ibiza holidays have probably got a slightly undeservedly bad reputation. Here we look at whats involved and whether a club 18-30's holiday to Ibiza is a good choice for you.

What are 18-30's holidays?

18 – 30’s holidays are actually a brand owned by Thomas Cook but it’s a term often used to describe a type of package holiday which typically revolves around young people in hot countries getting pissed, playing games and generally being upstanding Brits abroad! First Choice holidays have a similar brand called ‘twenties’ although they don’t seem to push it as much anymore.

What's it all about

Although 18 – 30’s club holidays are slightly clichéd these days many people are still fans of the format and if you’re just out for fun and drinking they’re not a bad option at all. An 18 – 30’s holiday typically consists of the following:

• Standard package holiday with flights, transfers and accommodation included
• Typically half board meaning breakfast and dinner
• Welcome meeting with club rep
• Optional activities including stuff like boat parties, foam parties day trips
• You’re likely to be with the same group of people for the week or fortnight so can be good for ‘meeting’ new people
• Stuff like bar crawls and nights out to clubs led by the reps

All 18-30’s holidays in Ibiza are based out of San Antonio hotels and apartments. All are fairly basic but in good locations close to the west end bars where the typical club 18 – 30’s bar crawls which you tend to see on programs like Ibiza Uncovered go through. Hotel tropical is probably the best on offer but don’t expect the ritz! These are basic hotels mainly catering for clubbers as part of package holidays which means guaranteed action at night, plenty of likeminded young people, but not great food or sleeping conditions.

The beach in San Antonio isn’t great but days out to better beaches are usually included in the 18 – 30’s rostrum of trips.
