JAY DEEP ( DJ/Producer/Promoter ) UK one of shining stars in the Club industry. Currently locate in Europe; His successful ascent to the top is highly reflective of his total dedication to the entertainment business which has resulted in him gaining extensive experience in hosting a number of accomplished Local & International events over the years. His level of expertise in the club industry has now risen above and beyond that of many of his pioneering contemporaries.
Jay deep's career was in the making long before he ever started playing at venues. Never a stranger to rhythm and beats he started out by getting to know the ins and outs of the music business and the range of different music styles available, which he then learnt to incorporate into harmony. Starting his career as a part time DJ at the tender age of 15 he has quickly become well-known for his entertaining style and already has an impressive collection of achievements under his belt including the release of a series of remixes that are played on various nights.
Never afraid of taking risks, jay deep’s hard work, ambition and drive have seen him quickly rise to the top to become one of Sri Lanka’s top ranked DJ’s on the Colombo club circuit. Resigning from mobile DJ’ing back in 2002, jay deep began work as a resident pub DJ before his increasing popularity saw him snapped up by the best bars and night clubs in Colombo; his regular venues have included the Mix Bar at the Taj Samudra, ZanZiBa - CoLoMbO, SHINE | DANCE LOUNGE and also H2O, a leading nightclub that’s become well known around the globe.
Over the last few years DJ jay deep has played alongside some huge names in the club industry at a number of massive events that he has successfully organised in many countries. Just some of these artists include DJ Sam Young, Charlotte Narni, Devon Montique, DJ Sarah Loise, Jule Briks and most recently Ahmet Sendil back in March 2010.
