Wonderland Closing Party Review @ Eden

Approaching one of San Antonio’s most notorious clubbing destinations, Eden, I was filled with the level of excitement similar to what I felt the fist time I entered (around 7 years ago). It’s just something about the blue neon sign that starts all the clubbing flashbacks come flooding back.
I’ve always had an amazing time at Eden, partly due to the more intimate layout of the club and tonight was no different. I had a lot of hopes for the Wonderland closing party managing to get on the VIP guest list for the evening only increased chances of having a memorable night.
The atmosphere at Wonderland closing party was energizing, sexy yet unpretentious. The crowd was on good form- friendly, pumped with electric energy and tuned in with the music, as though their semi-synchronised movements were coming from a level of musical sub-consciousness.
Sexy minx’s occupied the many podiums around the main arena, dancing in impressively provocative robotic styles. Think futuristic Lady Gaga with shiny gold knickers and longer legs. Later in the evening amazing acrobats emerged from the ceiling to put on a captivating display reminiscent of performances from the Moulin Rouge.
Pete Tong came on the set a little later than I had anticipated but it certainly was the climax of the night. He totally rocked the crowd and with the help of some dry ice and confetti blasts, triggered a wave of tingles throughout my whole body to make my hair stand up on end. This is why we love Ibiza!
