Hey all. Ibiza 2011 is fast approaching and we're looking for talented writers to help make loveibiza.net the go to place for Ibiza clubbing info, news and travel tips this summer.

You'll need to be able to write to a decent standard of english (although you don't need to be a professional writer, we're certainly not!) and have some great ideas for Ibiza related content you think you could contribute to our site. Most importantly you should love Ibiza and be passionate about the music, clubs, people or places which make the Ibiza scene so special and unique.

Just a quick note to tell you about a new section we're introducing to the Love Ibiza site called 'DJ Spotlight'. This year we're looking to showcase some exciting DJ's in this section and bring you some nice mixes to listen to while you're visiting.

Our first DJ spotlight has just gone up with a DJ called Gabriel Diggs. Gabriel was one of the earliest memebers of our Ibiza community and he agreed to be interviewed and to give us a wicked mix.

A few people have got in touch saying they've been having problems logging into their Love Ibiza profiles to access the community.

We've changed the login box at the top of the site which will hopefully solve these problems, or you can always login on the community homepage http://www.loveibiza.net/community

We launched the new site in beta tonight to our Facebook members and the full launch will happen some time next week.

Last year we setup a page on Facebook and invited our members and friends to become 'fans'.

At last count i.e.. today we had 1837 fans which is pretty cool. We've never really done much with this page but we're looking at ways we can use Facebook to keep our friends and fans updated with Ibiza news and stuff going on on the site.
