This is the END (for the end)

My morning Metro this morning reminded me that the End club in London is closing this weekend forever as the club has been sold to property developers.

I've only been to the End a couple of times but this seems a real shame and I'm fast running out of decent places I would look forward to going for a big night in London (although this rarely happens at the moment!)

Maybe its that I'm more detached from the whole Uk clubbing scene than I was a few years back but it seems like while dance music is as popular as ever the amount of proper electronic music venues and events are dwindling (maybe with the exception of the summer festivals).
