Ryanair Launches Liverpool to Ibiza Route

Ryanair has just launched a new service that will run from Liverpool's John Lennon Airport to Ibiza, making access to the Island that much easier for those travelling from North-West England. Tickets started selling on 30 March and seats are available from as little as £32 one-way, including airport taxes and charges. Flights will run three days a week - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.Maria Macken, Sales and Marketing Executive for Ryanair, said: "Today will see the new Ibiza route take to the sky from Liverpool John Lennon Airport. _Ryanair is making sure sunseekers and party revellers can make the most of the summer sunshine for less. The new Ibiza route will operate three times weekly and will mean an extra 45,000 passengers per annum travelling to and from Liverpool, sustaining an additional 45 jobs."
Ibiza is one of eight locations being relaunched by the budget carrier and is sure to be a popular choice for clubbers and families alike. Visitors from Liverpool will no doubt be keen to visit Cream and Garlands, two local clubs with residencies on the Island during summer 2009. Last week Paul van Dyk announced that he would play on several Thursday evenings throughout the season at Cream, with many other great names joining the line-up, including Sasha, Eric Prydz and Ferry Corsten.
Liverpool to Ibiza tickets are expected to disappear fast. For more information, see www.ryanair.com.
