Its Not Too Late!

If your like me, you start to get an itch around this time of year, the days start to get longer in the UK which means Ibiza is about to Open! This year i've planned my first trip around the space opening which is something ive not done before.

In 11 days, Space will open its doors for 2010. As you may know, this year the Space opening is a two day affair. Opening at 4.30 Saturday and Sunday and running through till 6am. The line-ups are as good as ever and with it being a two day event the magic of one of the biggest parties in the world is only going to last longer.
 
Space is not the only reason to get to Ibiza that weekend, with it being the end of the Ibiza music conference more and more parties are springing up around that weekend.
 
Thursday 27th - David Gueatta has his opening party along side Calvin Harris, Will he have a party on the plane flying over this year??
 
 
Friday 28th - Pure Pacha, Justice and Cassius, if you want to party straight and your not going to the IMS final party then take a trip to Pacha, its a great lineup and probably your only chance to get there.

Saturday 29th - This day gets interesting, and there is a big choice of things to do including obviously the Space opening party, Fatboy Slim and John Digweed amongst others, If your saving Space for the Sunday then you can visit the opening of Gala Nights which is being advertised by the guys from the Zoo Project, Alternatively you can check out Ushuaia Opening party with Luciano and Reboot, If your pockets are deep enough, you could fit in all three!


Sunday 30th - There is only one place to visit today and thats Space, ive not even looked to see what else in on because its not worth it! Carl Cox will be the star and personally im hopeing for an outdoor set and indoor set from him, fingers crossed.


Monday 1st June - If you are still going, then Monday could be seen as the most anticipated day in the last 12 month, DC10 will be opening with Circo Loco (hopefully it will not be closed straight away!!) The owners have promised a new start the line-up is quite large but mostly irrelevant, i think Pat Sharp could be playing and the place would still be full!! The interesting and questionable part of this is the 12 midday opening, Im not aware of how DC10 can legally open so early and Space dont have the same treatment? Maybe someone can fill us in on this?
 
If you are only going for a long weekend like myself, then Tuesday means home time! If you are staying longer then the following week has another 5 opening parties to keep you entertained :)

If you want to get over for a long weekend for the Space opening weekend then the bank buster is the flights, Your looking at about £200 each return, once you get there however accommodation is much lighter on your wallet, we have got 5 nights in Playe Den Bossa, four sharing has worked out at £60 each which is great.

If you see me over that weekend have a great time and come and say hi!
