Es Paradis Resident MDK's New Cocktail Bar 'People' in the Westend

Anyone's who's been to the infamous Es Paradis water parties over the past 5 years will have probably come across Es Paradis resident DJ MDK.

In 2009 MDK is taking over 'People' a cool new cocktail bar in San Antonio's Westend. We caught up with MDK to get the scoop on People and his plans for the summer in Ibiza.

Tell us a bit about People, what sort of venue can people expect?
 
People is a new cocktail bar in the heart of San Antonio. It's a modern, friendly and a great sociable bar bringing a fresh flavour to Ibiza's Westend. We will be hosting a selection of events, from our own signature nights to pre parties, monthly promotions and introducing our very own resident DJ's. As an attractive dual bar venue we are going to be the finest cocktail venue in Ibiza of 2009!
 

 
Will you be getting behind the decks in the bar?
 
We have already signed up well acclaimed pre parties and will be working alongside Es Paradis to get the very best resident DJs. So anyone visiting the bar will be enticed to stay all night every night, however, you never know if the mood takes me.....
 
Where else can people catch you this summer? Any other residencies or festivals lined up?
 
I will be the resident DJ at Es Paradis for the 5th year, where I will be playing everyday across the summer. I also have bookings in Moscow this spring and will be shooting across to play in other countries including Dubai before the season begins. However, for me nothing compares to the "fiesta del agua" at Es Paradis which is a highlight of my career.
 
You've played at some of the most prestigious venues in Ibiza, what's your favourite Ibiza club to play at?
 
For me it will always be Es Paradis, playing at the water party. This is because it is the oldest & most legendary party on the island, and to be part of such a tradition in the clubbing world is something I love.
