So, this year’s summer season in Ibiza is rapidly drawing to a close but don’t get too sad, as there’s plenty of partying to be getting on with until then. And we’re giving one lucky winner the chance to attend one of the White Isle’s most celebrated closing parties- Cream at Amnesia! This year, it’s taking place on 22nd September and is set to be a stormer!

Cream still remains one of the best clubbing experiences in Ibiza and is definitely THE place to be on a Thursday night.  This year the club celebrated its 17th year on the White Isle, making it the longest running UK club night. This summer season has seen an unbelievably successful mix of artists and DJs, including Cream’s ‘royal’ residents Paul Van Dyk, Eddie Halliwell and Ferry Corsten. New residence have also joined the party this year, including the UK’s biggest dance acts Above & Beyond, dance star Calvin Harris and Laidback Luke with his Super You&Me party in the Mixmag Terrace! Throughout the summer season, we have brought you a whole host a competition giveaways, but this time we have bagged two pairs of tickets to one of Ibiza’s favourite parties- the Judgement Sundays Closing Party, which is taking place on 18th September this year!  Not only this, each winner will receive a ‘Follow the Sunrise 2011’ CD compilation, which has been mixed by Judge Jules!

Judgement Sundays, said to be the busiest and best club night in Ibiza, is in its 12^th season this year with resident DJ Judge Jules. This year, we have seen bigger and louder things from the dance scene’s most influential artists and DJs, including Sander Van Doom, Eddie Halliwell, Marco V and Lisa lashes to name a few. This year, Judgement Sundays 2011 has also seen performances by emerging talent, such as Dutchman Ummet Ozcan, UK DJs Matt Zo and Jordan Suckley, Russian Trance sensation Arty,  and new #1 Female DJ Claudia Cazacu! It’s August, the busiest time of year for Ibiza, and so far it’s been phenomenal! There have been a lot of new additions to the Ibiza party calendar, which has made this summer season one of the most exciting in recent years. One of the most thrilling perhaps is the addition of another super club in the hottest part of town Playa den Bossa- Sankeys Ibiza!

It’s the second Sankeys to open, with the original residing in Manchester UK of course, and is part of a ‘7 Sankeys of the world’ vision that the club hope to achieve by 2015! It’s a 1,500 capacity club with 3 rooms and a roof terrace. Not only this, Sankeys Ibiza has a VOID sound system and body sonic dance floor, which basically means this could be the best place on the White Isle to feel a fat baseline! The club is certainly making its mark in Ibiza, offering clubbers an assortment of party nights and varied line-ups:

This Thursday is Cream's Ibiza Birthday party and to celebrate, we thought we'd bring you our exclusive chat with resident DJ and international superstar Paul van Dyk.

I was very excited to be given the opportunity to speak with one of the world's greatest DJs, Paul van Dyk (or PvD if you prefer), but also rather nervous!
