Ibiza for New Years Eve?

Firstly my apologies to the girl who wrote in and asked this question- I presume you were talking about NYE 2008/9- in which case we're a bit late for you I'm afraid but hopefully this might help in the future! Its a good question and one which to be honest we don't know a lot about as we concentrate very much on covering the tourist season in Ibiza which as you say is during the summer.

We did a bit of research and asked around and here's what we know about NYE in Ibiza...

-Pacha, being open all year is your best bet for a big club night, although you'll probably want to get advanced tickets.
-DC-10 and Amnesia have both thrown new years eve parties in previous years (although we would presume DC-10 didn't this year)
-Plenty of people live in Ibiza all year round so like anywhere you'll find plenty of parties going on over new years, just on a smaller scale to during the summer
-Flights are less frequent and therefore more expensive during the winter, especially in the xmas/ new year period. You may want to consider flying to Barcelona on a cheap deal from non-london airports and get the ferry over to Ibiza.
